Frequently asked questions Q: When is payment due? A: We'll reach out the day before for payment. You can pay via cash, check, Venmo, Cashapp, Apple Pay or card. If you choose to pay with a card you are agree to absorb the credit card processing fee (4.75%). If you choose to pay with cash, arrangements need to be made to meet the day before. We will not leave the shop until the order is paid for in full. Payment may be required earlier for popular dates. (4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day etc)
Q: Do you deliver and setup? A: Yes, the appropriate delivery fee needs to be added at booking. Delivery fees range from $15-$35 dollars up to 35 miles. 36 miles or more is assessed at $2/mile. The delivery tiers are at the top of each page.
Q: What if I don't need the Hopper for 8 hours? Is the price less? A: It's UP TO 8 hours. Price is the same for any time 8 hours or less.
Q: Do you offer same day rentals? A: We do but there is a $50 fee for all same day rentals and a $25 fee for orders with 48 hours or less notice.
Q: Do you have insurance? A: Yes. We are insured by Berkley Specialty Insurance Company and can provide additional insured documentation if necessary. Q: Do you provide the extension cord? A: Yes, we provide the extension cord if necessary.
Q: Do you provide the water hose? A: Yes, we attach our water hose to the Hopper and if it's not long enough, we attach the renter's hose to ours.
Q: Can I keep the Hopper overnight? A: Sometimes situations arise in which we need to leave the Hopper overnight. It's completely situational dependent and will vary from order to order. Under normal circumstances, overnight rentals are prohibited.
Q: What happens if there's bad weather the day of my event? A: We don't collect payment until the day before which allows you to check the weather report prior to paying. If for some reason you pay and the event doesn't take place you'll receive a credit to be used at a later date.
Q: Can I have the Hopper at a park? A: Yes, we have setup at parks before. Be sure to check with the city to obtain permission. Verify that there is electricity at the park otherwise a generator rental will be necessary. Verify that you can have a waterslide and make sure there is water at the park. City of Jacksonville parks do not allow waterslides.
Q: Can I eat/drink in the Hopper? A: There is to be no food or drink or evidence of food or drink in the Hopper. There is a MINIMUM $30 cleaning fee if any evidence of food is found in the Hopper.
Q: I have a small pet. Is it allowed in the Hopper? A: No, pets aren't allowed in the Hopper.
Q: Can we wear water shoes? A: No, there are to be no shoes of any kind in the Hopper.
Q: What else isn't allowed in the Hopper? A: Silly string, confetti, face paint or anything else that would make cleaning more difficult or could possibly stain the Hopper.
